Our bodies undergo daily stresses. We rely on sleeping/rest to help our bodies readjust themselves each day. Think of the amount of advertisements we are bombarded with concerning relaxation and sleep! Whether it is a sleep number bed, a lazy boy recliner or a new hot tub, our society is focused on releaving those aches and pains. According to our assigned reading, animals such as gorillas sleep in different positions that actually help their bodies realign more efficiently to avoid achy joints. The advice is that we learn and gain alot from more "primative" and natural sleeping practices.
